Dr Ulrich Laukamm-Josten
German, public health consultant; epidemiologist, specialist in infectious diseases, tropical medicine, reproductive health; research interests in health data management and district health systems; over 10 years experience in training in developing countries in project planning, formulation, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation, including administration and financial management of projects; collaboration at international and national level with multi- and bi-lateral organizations, donors, governments, NGOs, scientific institutions, professional, and community groups; worked for five years as the AMREF Tanzania HIV/AIDS program coordinator in Dar es Salaam.
First served on the AMRREF Board from October 6, 1999 to March 2006.
Re-appointed to the Board as International Forum representative on March 9, 2007.
